Why a Pacifico transfer is different
The route to Pacifico passes through downtown Cabo San Lucas before climbing the coastal access roads. During peak season (Dec-Apr) and cruise ship arrival days, the marina-to-Pacific stretch can add 15-20 minutes to the trip. Our drivers know the alternate side streets that bypass the worst congestion. The cliffside access roads (especially to Sunset Beach, Solmar Land's End, and Pacifica) have several gated checkpoints — we have your reservation on file before you arrive.
Late-night and early morning arrivals
For 5-7 AM Pacifico departures, plan to leave your resort 2.5 hours before scheduled flight time: 45-60 minutes drive + 60 minutes for SJD security + buffer for the gate-and-cliffroad exit. We confirm pickup time 24 hours before departure via WhatsApp. For late-night arrivals, the drive at 11 PM is the fastest of the day — typically 35-45 minutes door-to-door.
